Ryan Colone is a New York-based actor and artist. He has made his mark portraying young adult characters on both the stage and the screen with nuance, complexity, and a high standard of professionalism. Hailing from the suburbs outside of Boston MA, Ryan is drawn to projects that deconstruct privilege and turn the traditional family on its head. He brings both straight and queer characters to life with love and care.
Ryan is currently making his Off-Broadway debut in Studio Seaview’s “Angry Alan” alongside headliner John Krasinski directed by Sam Gold. The process has been transformative and invaluable as a performer, instilling a regimented process of healthy habits and courteous professionalism that he will carry forward with him.
He completed his training at NYU Tisch, graduating in May 2025, studying Meisner technique at both introductory and advanced levels in the MSNR Studio, as well as on-camera acting at filmmaking with Stonestreet Studios. As a trained singer, Ryan performed with and served as the treasurer for The Mixtapes A Cappella in his free time. He has also starred in theatrical productions from the Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and the Broke People Play Festival. Additionally, Ryan is a working producer of film, television, and theatre. He is thrilled to bring the new play “Read My Lips” to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer alongside a cohort of emerging NYU talent.
